ClickSpeak is built with a local-first architecture. Your recordings, documents, and data stay on your device by default. We don't have access to your content unless you explicitly choose to share it with our optional cloud services.

1Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide.
  • Payment Information: If you purchase a license, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your complete credit card information.
  • Support Communications: When you contact us for support, we retain the communications for quality assurance and to improve our services.
  • Feedback & Surveys: Any feedback, testimonials, or survey responses you voluntarily provide.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Operating system type, version, and unique device identifiers for license validation.
  • Usage Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to help us understand how ClickSpeak is used and improve features.
  • Crash Reports: If you opt-in, we may collect crash logs and diagnostic information to fix bugs.
  • Log Data: Our servers automatically log IP addresses, browser types, and access times when you visit our website.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Your screen recordings and captured content (stored locally on your device)
  • Your SOP documents and workflows (stored locally on your device)
  • Your exported files (PDF, Markdown, etc.)
  • Any keystroke data or typing patterns
  • Personal files or documents outside of ClickSpeak

3.1 Local-First Architecture

ClickSpeak is designed with privacy as a core principle. All your recordings, documents, and generated SOPs are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this content.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we do collect:

Our servers are located in the United States and Europe. We use trusted cloud infrastructure providers that maintain SOC 2 Type II certification and comply with GDPR requirements.

Payment Processing

Stripe processes all payments. They are PCI DSS Level 1 certified. We only receive transaction confirmations and never store your full payment details.
